Volunteers posed after a Saluki Service Day.

SIU has a long and rich legacy of volunteerism and community service. Our students seek out service opportunities and the Center for Service Learning and Volunteerism assists students, faculty/staff and community organizations to create a culture that celebrates student involvement on campus and in the community.  The Center for Service Learning and Volunteerism relies on private support to continue offering unique programs such as the Women's Civic Institute which prepares students for leadership and public service. In keeping with this campus' emphasis on preparing aware, engaged citizens, we continue to be a leader in civic engagement.

Support from alumni and other friends will allow us to enhance opportunities for student engagement. Please make a donation to support the Center's activities and programs. Selecting "Continue" will take you to the SIU Foundation, a designated 501(c)(3) organization with appropriate approval from the Internal Revenue Service to issue tax-deductible receipts for private gifts.  Thank you for your support!
